Academic Policies for RCM Program
a. Entrance Requirements: same as for the College, except for foreign language.
b. Student should take courses in the sequence shown in the degree plan.
c. Students should maintain a 2.0 GPA overall and in major courses.
d. Degree credit will be given for a grade of “D”.
e. Upon completion of 51 hours of First Year and Second Year CM Program classes with a GPA of 2.0 on all required courses, a student will be considered for admission to the construction management program.
Program of Study-Construction Management Major
Notes (120-123 total hours):
1. To enter the sequence shown below, students must enter with high school English, physics, chemistry, and geometry, algebra, and precalculus, or their equivalents.
2. English Electives are: Any course in Sophomore Literature (ENGL 2322-2376).
3. Fine Arts Electives are: ARTS 1301, COMM 1375, DANC 2304, HUMA 1315, MUSI 1306, or THEA 1310.
4. Science Electives are: GEOL 1403, CHEM 1411, PHYS 1402.
5. History Electives are: HIST 1301, 1302, 1361 (hon.), 1362 (hon.), 2301.

Program of Study-Construction Management Minor
A minor in construction management requires a minumum of 18 hours and a maximum 24 hours of CMGT courses, as listed below.
1. Complete any 6 hours from the following|: CMGT 1310(3), 1320(3), 2310(3);
2. Complete CMGT 2320(3);
3. Complete CMGT 3320(3);
4. Complete any 6 hours from the following to bring the total to at least 18 hours: 4310(3), 4320(3), 4350(3), 4360(3), 4400(3).
