A
mechanical/civil engineer graduate will typically start off as a support
engineer at the BP Texas City refinery and/or chemical plant. As a
support engineer, you will be mentored by more experienced engineers in
job note preparation, refinery specifications, turnaround development,
etc. in preparation for your assignment to a specific process unit.
During your time as the support engineer, you will experience specific
rotations in different departments (the Repair Shop, Inspection
Department, Rotating Equipment, etc...), in addition to attending
internal/external training classes. |

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical/Civil Engineering. Graduation date: December 2005 & August 2006. |
