Civil/Structrual Associate Design Engineer I

Job Description:

Job Description   Associate Structural Engineer I position involves layout, analysis and design of structures, buildings, and equipment foundations for refineries, petrochemical, power and industrial plants worldwide.

Under the guidance of experienced engineers, assignments may include assisting with dynamic analysis for rotating equipment, blast analysis, estimating, scope or specification writing and procurement of materials.

Responsibilities also include interfacing with other engineering disciplines, coordination with field construction personnel, and working with external vendors and resources to develop solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements               BS or MS in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis on structural course work; strong computer skills; must have completed courses in structural analysis, steel design and concrete design and maintain no less than a 2.5 GPA.

Travel, as required, to assure the successful execution of project and or department goals.
